Dublin Day 1

So it has been this unbelievably long "day" here. Starting from our flight out in Pearson at 6 on July 02 to now. And of course in these last 24 hours I have had no sleep because of the plane ride here. I'm sure if Daniel gets a chance to get on this blog he will defiantly talk about the evil girl guides on the plane. But we did make it.

After arriving in here, we brilliantly decided that we would walk to Dublin downtown. Only 8km right? and an enormous backpack to bring along, and the fact that we would have to find our way with only wifi. Well, maybe it wasn't that brilliant, but still we did make it.

Arriving at the hostel was nice, and we finally got a chance to get off our feet. So after a 30 minute break it was time for exploring the city. Went to a great pub for lunch and had their all day breakfast instead. Then went around town to see if we could get a idea of the lay of the land. Turned out that there are a lot of cool things to see, so tomorrow the plan is to get on a free tour which touches on everything, and then come back to explore more later.

We have met a nice room mate here, but its still only 3 of us in a 8 person dorm. The room mate we met is from Spain and is currently learning English in Dublin. Seems to be he plans to stay here for another 2 months and learn it well.

Well that was about it for today, though I should have more tomorrow, after the tour we are headed out on. My feet kill.
